Job Description

The Accounts Payable Associate supports the accounting operations of S.J. Louis by processing invoices, maintaining accurate vendor records, and ensuring timely payments. This role works closely a variety of partners to resolve discrepancies and accurately record project and operating expenses.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess invoices in an accurate and efficient manner, including matching, batching, coding, and entering invoices.Research and resolve issues with customers or vendors. Process and review monthly credit card transactions.Review vendor statements on a monthly basis.Update and reconcile sub-ledger accounts to the general ledger.Set up and maintain vendor accounts.Other duties and tasks as assigned. Qualifications and ExperienceAssociates degree in Accounting preferred.Demonstrated accounts payable experience.Able to work independently, with customers, and collaborate in small group settings.Able to prioritize, meet deadlines, and be detail-oriented.Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity and care.Proficient in Microsoft Suite. Experience with ERP software a plus.Work EnvironmentWork is performed in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels from conversations, telephones, and office equipment. The role involves extended periods of sitting or standing at a workstation and regular use of a computer and other standard office equipment.
