AP English Teacher
Tianjin, China | Start Date: August 2026

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Native English-speaking AP English Teacher to join an international school in Tianjin. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality AP English instruction and supporting students’ academic development in reading, writing, and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities
Teach AP English Language and/or AP English Literature courses to high school students
Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with AP curriculum standards
Develop students’ academic writing, analysis, and communication skills
Prepare students for AP examinations and assessments
Provide feedback and support students’ academic progress
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school activities

Requirements
Native English speaker
Bachelor’s degree or above in English, Education, Literature, or related field
Teaching qualification (PGCE / QTS / state license or equivalent) preferred
Relevant AP English teaching experience preferred
International school teaching experience is an advantage
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Passion for student-centered learning
