NYC Security Company is hiring experienced, professional Armed Security Guards for a stable, full-time daytime assignment in New York.
This is a strong opportunity for a licensed armed guard looking for a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, weekends off, competitive hourly pay, and a professional company that values reliability and accountability.
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–12:30 PM

What You’ll Do
Maintain a visible, professional armed security presence.
Control access at entrances, exits, and designated areas.
Conduct interior and exterior patrols in accordance with post orders.
Monitor the premises and identify potential safety or security concerns.
Respond to incidents, emergencies, and unauthorized activity with calm, sound judgment.
Enforce client site procedures, company policies, and safety protocols.
Complete clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident reports.
Protect clients, visitors, employees, property, and assets with professionalism and vigilance.
What We’re Looking For
Valid New York State Armed Security Guard license — required.
Active firearm permit and current range qualification — required.
Prior armed security, law-enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
Strong situational awareness, communication skills, and professional judgment.
Ability to remain alert, stand or patrol for extended periods, and work independently.
Dependable attendance, punctuality, professional appearance, and a customer-service mindset.
Availability for the listed full-time weekday day-shift schedule.
