Farmers Insurance is hiring an Insurance Agency Trainee for a hybrid position based in Tuscaloosa, AL that combines sales production with agency development. In this role, you will
be expected to sell and produce business, but the opportunity is designed for
candidates who want to go beyond a standard producer seat. This position is
built for individuals who want to learn how to contribute to agency growth,
client experience, and long-term operational success while building a
foundation in insurance sales.
The Opportunity

· Generate leads and convert opportunities into new business.
· Present coverage options and recommend solutions for clients.
· Support policy servicing, renewals, and account retention.
· Learn agency workflows, reporting expectations, and production habits.
· Participate in ongoing mentoring and training sessions.
· Maintain professionalism and responsiveness with clients and prospects.
Requirements
· Ability and willingness to obtain insurance licenses.
· Strong work ethic and willingness to be accountable to goals.
· Sales or client-facing experience preferred.
· Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
