As a Full-Stack Developer at Verselify, you will architect and ship production-grade software for clients ranging from fast-growing startups to enterprise teams. You will own features from database design through API development to polished user interfaces, working in agile squads alongside designers, QA engineers, and product stakeholders across multiple time zones.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and implement full-stack features using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and REST or GraphQL APIs
• Define database schemas, optimize queries, and integrate caching layers for performance at scale
• Conduct code reviews, establish engineering standards, and mentor mid-level and junior developers
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate prototypes into responsive, accessible interfaces
• Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and client demos with clear technical communication
• Troubleshoot production issues, monitor application health, and drive continuous improvement
NICE TO HAVE
• Experience with SaaS multi-tenancy, subscription billing, or e-commerce platforms
• Familiarity with flntech integrations (Stripe, Plaid, open banking APIs)
• Contributions to open-source projects or technical blog writing
REQUIREMENTS
• Currently based in the United States or Canada with authorization to work remotely
• 5+ years of professional experience building web applications in production environments
• Strong proficiency in React or Next.js and at least one backend runtime (Node.js, Python, or .NET)
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, ORMs, and data modeling principles
• Experience deploying and operating applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, async-friendly team
• Excellent written and spoken English for client and team communication
