Housekeeper – Direct Hire | Whitewater, WIAdecco is currently hiring Housekeepers for a Direct Hire opportunity with a respected assisted living and nursing care facility in Whitewater, WIThis is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. As a Housekeeper, you will play an important role in supporting the health, safety, and overall comfort of residents by maintaining resident rooms, bathrooms, dining areas, and common spaces.Schedule: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PMPay Rate: $14.50 per hourEmployment Type: Direct Hire – You will be hired directly by the facility!Available PositionsWe currently have two Housekeeping positions available on the Assisted Living floor:Position 1: Sole HousekeeperResponsible for cleaning 13 resident rooms and bathrooms dailyClean and maintain common areasClean the unit dining roomClean public/restroom areasMaintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and visitorsPosition 2: Assisted Living Housekeeping TeamWork alongside another Housekeeper on an Assisted Living floor with 23 resident roomsEach Housekeeper will be responsible for approximately 11–12 resident roomsClean resident rooms and bathroomsWork together to clean and maintain the unit dining roomMaintain common areas and public bathroomsJob Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:Perform daily housekeeping duties as assignedClean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, dining areas, and other facility spacesFollow established cleaning schedules and proceduresClean and sanitize bathroom fixtures, mirrors, windows, floors, carpets, and other surfacesClean fixtures, ledges, heating and cooling units, hallways, stairways, and elevatorsDispose of waste and trash according to established sanitation proceduresEmpty and reline trash receptaclesPerform apartment or resident room turnover cleaning as neededMaintain assigned work areas in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive conditionFollow infection control procedures, standard precautions, and isolation procedures as directedWear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing assigned dutiesFollow all established safety procedures when using cleaning equipment and suppliesReport hazardous conditions, damaged equipment, accidents, or incidents to the appropriate supervisorClean and properly store housekeeping equipment and supplies at the end of each shiftMaintain and clean work carts and supply equipmentCommunicate supply needs to the appropriate supervisorAssist the Maintenance Department with stripping, waxing, buffing, and shampooing floors as neededAttend required staff meetings, training, in-service education, and on-the-job training programsMaintain confidentiality of resident information and respect all resident privacy, personal rights, and propertyQualificationsPrevious housekeeping, janitorial, hotel, healthcare, assisted living, or nursing home experience is preferredHigh School Diploma or GED is requiredMust be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishMust be dependable and able to follow established cleaning schedules and proceduresMust be comfortable working in an environment that provides care and services to elderly residentsMust have strong attention to detail and take pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environmentAbility to follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality requirementsIf you are dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy helping create a clean and comfortable environment for others, we encourage you to apply!Click "Apply Now" to be considered for this Direct Hire Housekeeper opportunity in Whitewater, WI!Pay Details: $14.50 per hour Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledMilitary connected talent encouraged to applyTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:The California Fair Chance ActLos Angeles City Fair Chance OrdinanceLos Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for EmployersSan Francisco Fair Chance OrdinanceMassachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
