What You’ll Do As a
Metal Wall Panel Installer , you’ll play a key leadership role in managing and executing the installation of aluminum wall panels for high-profile commercial projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supervising installation crews to ensure high-quality workmanship and efficiency.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Coordinating materials, schedules, and site logistics for smooth project execution.
- Installing and fabricating metal wall panels with precision and adherence to project requirements.
- Ensuring job site safety and compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
- Operating a variety of hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and cutting equipment.
- Running precise and clean caulk lines for a professional finish.
- Providing on-the-job training and mentorship to team members.
- Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and other trades to maintain project timelines.
- Maintaining a clean and organized worksite, ensuring all tools and materials are properly handled.
What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is a skilled installer with strong leadership qualities and a commitment to excellence. Here’s what we’re seeking:
- 2+ years of experience in metal wall panel installation.
- Familiar with some or all of the following: IMP, ACM, Concealed Fastener, Exposed Fastener, Standing seam, extruded Plank, Roof Edge, Roof Coping, Vapor Barrier, and Miscellaneous metal flashings.
- Prior leadership or foreman experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices and ability to read technical drawings.
- Ability to effectively lead a crew, delegate tasks, and troubleshoot challenges on-site.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights using company-provided safety equipment.
- Flexibility to travel up to 20% of the time for projects, with potential overnight stays.
- The ability to lift up to 75+ pounds, with frequent bending, lifting, and twisting.
- Reliable transportation to meet the needs of the position.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to train and develop team members.
- Employment contingent upon passing required pre-employment screenings, in compliance with applicable laws.
