Location:  Winter Park, Florida
Compensation: $30–$40 per hour
Commitment: Full-time
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule:  Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with a high degree of flexibility

Position Overview

A family is seeking a full-time, temp Nanny / Family Assistant to provide loving infant care and support the smooth running of their household. The child will be approximately 10 weeks old at the start of the position, and the role centers on attentive, developmentally appropriate newborn care alongside light family assistant responsibilities.

The family is based in Winter Park, Florida, where this is a live-out position for most of the year.

Responsibilities

• Providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care for the infant
• Establishing nurturing daily routines
• Bottle cleaning and sanitizing
• Meal preparation for the child as they grow
• Children's laundry and seasonal clothing organization
• Supporting the child's developmental milestones
• Light home tidying and organization
• Kitchen tidying
• Household inventory management
• Grocery shopping and meal planning
• Taking out the garbage
• Running occasional household errands
• Living in with the family at their Maryland home from September through December each year (accommodation provided)

Requirements

• Local to the Winter Park, Florida area
• Available to travel and live in at the family's Maryland home from September through December
• Prior professional nanny experience
• Extensive newborn and infant care experience
• Strong understanding of infant development and developmental milestones
• Warm, nurturing, patient, and dependable personality
• Flexible and adaptable approach
• Comfortable supporting a household with light family assistant responsibilities
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
• Valid driver's license
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
