Location: Lewis Center, OH
Type: Full-Time (Part-Time opportunity available)

Our single-location, privately owned optometry practice is looking for an Optician who brings warmth, dependability, and attention to detail to everything they do.

Essential Functions

• Assist patients with frame and lens selection
• Interpret and accurately fill optical prescriptions
• Take precise measurements
• Explain lens options, coatings, and pricing clearly and confidently
• Process orders, verify accuracy, and troubleshoot lab or warranty issues
• Adjust, repair, and maintain eyewear
• Keep optical displays organized, clean, and visually appealing
• Educate patients on proper eyewear care and usage
• Collaborate with doctors, technicians, and front desk staff to ensure a seamless patient experience

Qualifications

• Prior optician experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Sales confidence paired with an ethical, patient-first approach
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
