Amergis Staffing is currently seeking Special Education Teacher for the 2026/27 school year in the Santa Maria, CA area.
Position Details: Must have CA M/M Teacher Certification
Hours/Week: 37.5 hours
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Start Date: August 13th, 2026
Length: 26/27 School Year
Details: Grade Level: Elementary-Middle School, caseload will be discussed during interview, in person only
Pay: Local Rate : $60/hour
Travel Rate: $2,500 weekly (for candidates traveling 50+ miles)

The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator provides quality services to special education students, kindergarten through grade 12. The Special Education Teacher has a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs including special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation with general education staff.
