Territory Ownership: Drive commercial sales growth across the Greater Fond du Lac and surrounding East-Central Wisconsin market. Identify, qualify, and close new commercial door installations, large quoted repairs, retrofit projects, and recurring Planned Maintenance (PM) contracts.
Face-to-Face Field Engagement: Run an active field schedule averaging 15+ in-person customer discovery meetings per month . Conduct jobsite walk-throughs, take field measurements, evaluate facility openings, and scope tailored door solutions.
Strategic B2B Prospecting: Build long-term partnerships with commercial general contractors, facility managers, property management groups, warehouse operators, and agricultural/industrial business owners.
Hybrid Operations: Balance your schedule between on-site client visits across the territory and collaborating 2–3 days per week with branch leadership and inside sales support at the local Fond du Lac branch.
Proven B2B "Hunter" Background: Strong track record in outside sales, territory development, or project-based technical sales.
Ideal industry backgrounds include: Commercial Overhead Doors & Garage Doors, Building Materials, Commercial Construction Services, Roofing/Siding Distribution, HVAC, Building Mechanicals, or Industrial Equipment.
Consultative Problem Solver: Ability to evaluate commercial and industrial facilities, understand technical door opening specifications, and present value-add proposals that solve operational safety, security, and climate-control needs.
Self-Directed Discipline: Organized, motivated, and tech-savvy. You know how to manage a regional pipeline, run structured discovery, and turn quotes into signed orders.
Commute & Territory Logistics: Must reside within a daily commutable distance of Fond du Lac, WI , possess a valid driver’s license, and maintain a clean driving record for territory travel.
