Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Sonora, California. Start date 08/31/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. Weekly pay range: $1,375–$1,465 per week with guaranteed hours of 40 per week. Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 5x8 schedule with weekend availability as needed. Responsibilities
- Provide routine patient care under supervision of an RN or MD in accordance with the nursing process and established policy.
- Perform clinical procedures within scope (e.g., phlebotomy, injections, drug screens) and administer medications with monitoring for adverse effects.
- Assist in developing, prioritizing, and coordinating an interdisciplinary plan of care; participate in patient and caregiver education and discharge planning.
- Maintain aseptic technique, ensure safe and orderly patient areas, restock supplies, and document care accurately.
- On-call duties may be assigned based on location and agency needs.

Requirements
- Active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
- Minimum of two years of recent nursing experience.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Arrhythmia certification preferred; ability to meet on-call expectations if assigned.
- Weekend availability and ability to work a 5x8 day schedule; valid driver’s license preferred.
