Warehouse Worker | Entry-Level Production Associate

About the Role

Join a fast-paced manufacturing team that produces plastic lids for food and beverage packaging. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to build warehouse or production experience in a stable manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Pack plastic lids into cartons and boxes from automated production lines.
• Build cartons and stack finished products onto pallets/skids.
• Label, organize, and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Monitor production equipment and report quality, safety, or equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety, GMP, and food safety procedures.
• Assist with quality inspections and product checks.
• Cross-train on different machines and production processes as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing frequent bending.
• Reliable with strong attendance and work ethic.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous warehouse, packing, production, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing facility that produces food packaging products. Employees spend most of the shift standing and working around automated production equipment. Heavy lifting is minimal, and the facility maintains high standards for cleanliness, safety, and quality. Day and night shift options are available.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lee's Summit, MO.

The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $19.25/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
