As a Job Developer, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to achieve greater independence through meaningful employment. Responsibilities

• Provide individualized job training and vocational instruction to adults with disabilities
• Identify and develop employment opportunities by networking with local businesses
• Conduct job market research and analyze employment trends to inform placement strategies
• Maintain strong relationships with employers to support ongoing client success
• Place clients in suitable employment positions, aiming for at least two placements per quarter when referrals are available
• Coordinate with Job Coaches to ensure employer expectations are met
• Facilitate job preparation classes and quarterly job club events
• Participate in community outreach and employment-related events
• Maintain accurate records, evaluations, and documentation as required
• Support the Individual Placement Department and assist with other duties as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, or experience in vocational rehabilitation, human services, sales, customer service, or community outreach
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; outgoing and comfortable with public interaction
• Knowledge of the local community (Atascadero, Templeton, Paso Robles) is preferred
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively
• Basic technology and computer skills
• Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
• Valid California Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a background check

Compensation

$24.00 per hour (Full-Time, approximately 30+ hours per week). Includes a $250 sign-on bonus .
