The Analyst, Crew Operations is responsible for the real-time planning, allocation, and delivery of crew resources across the operation. This role leverages data, operational expertise, and technology to ensure flights are staffed with qualified, legal, and compliant crew members while optimizing cost, efficiency, and operational reliability. Operating within a 24/7 environment, the Analyst uses data-driven decision-making to solve complex operational challenges, manage disruptions, and support both immediate operational needs and long-term business priorities. This position partners closely with Flight Operations, In-Flight Service (IFS), Crew Technology, IT, Finance, Analytics, and Operations Management teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute real-time operational decisions to allocate crew resources and ensure full flight coverage across the network.
  • Manage and resolve operational disruptions while maintaining compliance with regulations, labor agreements, and company policies.
  • Optimize crew assignments to balance safety, service reliability, compliance, and cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate crew trip logistics, including scheduling adjustments and hotel accommodations.
  • Utilize legacy systems and next-generation optimization tools to support operational decision-making.
  • Serve as an active end user of emerging technologies and support implementation of new tools and processes.
  • Apply analytical and critical-thinking skills to determine optimal operational solutions.
  • Leverage data and operational insights to improve resource allocation and operational outcomes.
  • Partner with Flight Operations, IFS, Crew Technology, IT, Analytics, Finance, and Operations Management teams.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend scalable process and technology improvements.
