Join Amazon Leo‘s Legal team and help navigate the complex legal landscape of satellite technology and regulatory licensing challenges that haven‘t been solved before in Latin America. Some travel, domestic and international, will be required. No space travel is required at this time.

Key job responsibilities
- Identify, research, and analyze complex legal issues related to satellite technology and regulatory licensing matters, providing strategic counsel to business and technical teams
- Collaborate with Amazon Leo‘s technical, regulatory, and business teams to assess legal implications of new initiatives and advise on risk mitigation strategies
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to understand business objectives and provide proactive legal guidance
- Support senior leadership and cross-functional teams in evaluating business-critical decisions and implementing legal solutions
- Advise on matters involving telecommunications law, spectrum licensing and international regulatory matters

A day in the life
As an Associate Corporate Counsel supporting Amazon Leo, you‘ll engage with novel legal questions that span satellite technology, regulatory licensing matters, and international operations across Latin America. You‘ll work on matters with significant visibility and impact, sometimes independently and often in partnership with colleagues across legal, regulatory, business, and technical functions. Your work will directly influence how we navigate the complex landscape of bringing internet connectivity to communities around the world.

About the team
We partner closely with technical experts, regulatory specialists, and business leaders to navigate the unique challenges of satellite technology and international operations. We value diverse perspectives and welcome lawyers from various backgrounds who bring sound judgment and creative problem-solving abilities. We‘re building something meaningful together, and we‘re looking for someone who shares our commitment to supporting this transformative initiative. You‘ll join a group that thrives in dynamic, evolving situations and believes in the power of collaboration.
